love can be dangerous …

For the past four years, ShellyRae at Book’d Out has run an Australia Day Blog Hop. This year I’m part of it! If you make a comment, you go into the draw for a copy of Cold Deception (ebook only). The competition closes  at midnight on 27 January 2016. Open to international readers as well.

There are a lot of book bloggers, writers and other folk participating the the blog hop, so you could go here to see the list and visit their blogs too. Over at the Australian Women Writers Challenge you could go into the draw for a copy of Desperate Deception as well.

While you’re there, you could sign up for the 2016 reading challenge. I did so today and have challenged myself to read at least ten books by Australian women and review five of them. I’d like to read more literary fiction this year so the AWWC is a good source of inspiration for my list.

Are you participating in any reading challenges this year?

  1. Thanks for the giveaway! I’m going to try to do that challenge unofficially, but since I have way too many blogs and websites already, none of which are book blogs, I think I’ll just review on GoodReads instead…

No challenges for me. Just finding time to read as much as I want is a challenge. (I need to quit my job I think.)

    Thank you for the opportunity.

I’ve participated in reading challenges before, but I decided to go easy on myself in 2016 and just read what I feel like reading at the time!

I’ve never done a challenge before so I’d be interested in looking at doing one. I just love reading, and helping people make good choices when it comes to books! Thank you for the chance to win.

I’m doing a Reading Challenge at the moment, but not the AWW one. I may give that one a go in 2017…but only if I’ve managed to whittle away my teetering To Be Read pile by then!

  8. In huge past couple of years I’ve signed up to a heap of reading challenges, but my favourite by far is the Australian women Writers Challenge. It’s so much fun finding new Aussie authors and their voices.

Participating in the Goodreads reading challenge, my goal is to read 65 books and I’m going to give myself another challenge also: to read every rural romance/ romance suspense book I own – I need to play catch up and having mentioned it here I can’t back out. And also the MMD reading challenge, to read 12 books in 12 different categories in 12 months, now this is going to be an interesting challenge it will make me read books I normally wouldn’t.

Thanks for this giveaway DB, loved your first book really looking forward to the next instalment.

Thanks for the giveaway! I am doing a few reading challenges this year. I am doing a Goodreads challenge for the fourth year, I am also doing a Book Bingo challenge for the second year and participating in the AWW challenge for the first time! I found a few others that looked interesting but I think I would be overloaded if I did any more!
